Community Legal Education Online - A WCLC Initiative
In 2017, the Wheatbelt Community Legal Centre won a grant from the Law Society of Western Australia for the amount of $62,000. The grant funded the first-ever WA project to investigate the use of multi-media technologies and internet platforms in the delivery of community legal education online (CLEO) across the Wheatbelt. Client-lawyer interaction using the 'internet-of-things' is set to go some way towards overcoming the regional and remote tyrannies of distance, time and cost.
